Payment & Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens.

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while respecting the time and resources that go into preparing for your stay, session, or event.

Please note the liability requirement bellow, to comply with our policy.

Deposit & Payment Schedule

To secure your retreat dates, a 50% deposit of the total booking fee is due upon confirmation. This deposit can be paid via check, Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal.

  • 25% of the total fee (or $1000, whichever is greater) is non-refundable to cover administrative and reservation costs.

  • The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event start date.

Cancellation Terms

  • More than 60 days before your retreat: You may cancel and receive a refund minus the non-refundable portion (25% or $1000, whichever is greater).

  • Less than 60 days before your retreat: The full 50% deposit is non-refundable.

  • Less than 30 days before your retreat: No refunds can be issued.

In the event of cancellation, we will always do our best to rebook the dates. If we are able to fill them, a partial credit or refund may be extended at our discretion.

Liability Requirements

Retreat facilitators are required to carry general liability insurance of at least $1 million, with the following listed as additional insured:

  • Thanktuary Retreat

  • Veena Melvani

  • David Matson

A valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be provided no later than two weeks before your event.

If you are unable to secure insurance, we will require all participants to sign a Liability Waiver prior to arrival, which we can provide.
